Managing day-to-day personal finance is crucial but not so much of an interesting work. But I find it increasingly motivating to log in my daily expenses when I have a dashboard to see an overview of my financial health. My goal is to create a streamlined process with my exisiting tool, which is Excel. And also, I want to discover more possibilities of visualization in Excel so I think, why not coming up with an engaging inclusive dashboard right in Excel?
Inspiration
I got my design layout inspiration from this quite popular Youtube channel called Other Level's. And I am particularly fond of their modern-looking financial dashboard in Excel. At first I tried to recreate everything from layout to color palette. Eventually, I decided to add some personal touch so I chose my own theme, illustrations and modify the layout to suit my needs.
