A few words about me
I was initially trained in economics and finance but chose to work in publishing and education before I finally found my true calling in data. It's a long and winding road but thanks to this diverse background and experience, I have a unique combination of skill sets, ranging from statistical analysis, storytelling, to business analysis. I aspire to become a so-called "full-stack" data professional. Below are my three core data skills.
Data Engineering
I may not be so good at dealing with complexities and relationships in real life, but in my parallel universe with data, I am obsessed with building complex data models, integrating multiple data sources and automating data workflows.
Data Visualization
Combining storytelling with design best practices, I craft compelling and aesthetic dashboards through a variety of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker and more on the way).
Data Analysis
Curious and investigative by nature, I enjoy digging into datasets to extract insights, spot trends and make predictive models that faciliate strategic decisions and drive business growth.
